Save the date for this iconic Martinborough fun ride!
Bring the whole family for a fabulous day out in picturesque Martinborough! Set in the stunning Wairarapa Countryside, the Martinborough Charity Fun Ride has been an essential calendar event for Kiwi cyclists since 1995.
All riders are welcome to enter, including e-bike riders. The 2026 Ride Holidays Martinborough Charity Fun Ride will take place on Sunday 15 November.

Course Description
Both the 67km and 115km rides will do the big loop through Gladstone first, turning off Longbush Rd at Gladstone Rd.
The 48km ride turns off Longbush Rd at Millars Rd and goes across to Ponatahi, then back towards Martinborough over the bridge at Boundary Rd.
After the first loop, the 115km riders turn left from Princess St into Huangarua Rd in Martinborough, being the first left up from the Huangarua bridge, and do the 48km loop.
All riders turn left from Princess St into New York St to the finish.
Drink stations are not provided. Entrants are responsible for carrying sufficient fluids for the ride.

About
A fun ride for cyclists starting in Martinborough and passing through the surrounding countryside. Organised by the South Wairarapa Rotary Club in collaboration with Athletics and cycling, Masterton, and sponsored by Ride Holidays event company , all profits from this event will be donated to charity.
Local Amenities
Food vendors and a coffee cart will be available on site. Make it a day out with the whole family! The race starts just a short walk from the Martinborough village square. Awash with colonial charm, packed with great cafes, restaurants and boutique wineries, and criss-crossed with walking and cycle tracks, Martinborough is one of the country’s must-visit destinations.
Ride Packs + Race Duration
Ride packs can be collected from the Martinborough Rugby Club on New York Street on the morning of the race between 7am and 9am.
Course marshalling and timing for the Martinborough Charity Fun Ride will finish at 1:30pm. This allows you 4.5 hours to complete the 115km ride. If you have not reached Huangarua Road by 11.45 a.m., you will be redirected to the 67km course.
