The organisers of the 2025 Ride Holidays Martinborough Charity Fun Ride would like to thank the hundreds of riders who registered and rode in this event, and now invite you to view your race results by following this link.
As a team, we made over $15.000 in profit in 2025, all of which went to our charity: CATWALK. At the forefront of spinal cord injury research in New Zealand and around the world, CatWalk is revolutionising the quest to cure paralysis.
Next year's event will take place in November 2026, with the final date to be announced in a few week's time. All riders are welcome to enter this iconic event, including kids and e-bike riders.

About
A fun ride for cyclists starting in Martinborough and passing through the surrounding countryside. Organised by the Rotary Club of South Wairarapa in collaboration with Athletics and Cycling Masterton, and sponsored by event company Ride Holidays, all profits from this event will be donated to charity.
Local Amenities
Food trucks, coffee carts, a sausage sizzle and music will be available on site. Make it a day out with the whole family! The race starts just a short walk from the Martinborough village square. Awash with colonial charm, packed with great cafes, restaurants and boutique wineries, and criss-crossed with walking and cycle tracks, Martinborough is one of the country's must-visit destinations.
Ride Packs + Race Duration
Ride packs can be collected from the Martinborough Rugby Club on New York Street on the morning of the race between 7am and 9am.
Course marshalling and timing for the Martinborough Charity Fun Ride will finish at 1:30pm. This allows you 4.5 hours to complete the 115km ride. If you have not reached Huangarua Road by 11.45 a.m., you will be redirected to the 67km course.

This year's charity will be CatWalk, funding life changing research for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
The forefront of spinal cord injury research, CatWalk is revolutionising the quest to cure paralysis right here in New Zealand.
As a cyclist, you expect to come off from time to time. What you don’t expect is for that fall to put you in a wheelchair. Every year, around seven cyclists who fall or crash their bikes will injure their spinal cord badly enough to cause permanent damage. They will swap two wheels for four. CatWalk is racing to find a cure for spinal cord injury. We don’t want you to stop biking; we want to make sure you can be put back together if the unexpected happens. Join us in the fight for a cure.
